Integrated Cycle and Energy Self-Sufficiency
Every year Caviro transforms over 280.000 tons of by-products – a weight comparable with the 275.000 tons of the Empire State Building in New York. The purification and incineration of the waste from the food product line allows for the total energy self-sufficiency of the Caviro facilities.
The Caviro Group is strongly committed to working towards the goals outlined by the Kyoto Protocol. We use renewable sources instead of conventional resources to generate power.
In addition, organic matter generated by the winemaking process is returned to the land. This integrated cycle is extremely valuable, and achieves almost ZERO IMPACT on the environment.
